Video Tutorial for sending shipment notification to Consignee/shipper/ Internal team
For better understanding, you may also refer the steps as mentioned below -
Step 1 - Click on "Users" button on the top right side of the screen
Step 2 – Click on "View Users" under Active Teams List
Step 3 – Click on "Consignee List"
Step 4 – Click on three dots on the Create Consignee Company button, where a drop down will appear.
Then click on “Consignee Bulk Upload”
A new dialogue box will pop up as shown below
Step 5 -Click on the “Download template” to download the excel file.
Once you open the excel file format, following details of the consignee company will be needed in order to upload the file.
Step 6 – Note: Fill only the mandatory details
- Column A --> Company Name (Mandatory): Enter the company name.
- Column B --> Unique ID. (Mandatory): Unique identifier against each company. If you have multiple consignees (customers) for multiple locations, you can update the code in this column which will display only their shipments on their dashboard.
- Column I --> Shipper/Consignee (Mandatory): Select if it is a consignee or shipper.
Step 7 - Once you update the mandatory data in the excel sheet, save the file on your PC and upload the same by clicking on “Click to Upload” button to upload the file.
Step 8 – Once the file is successfully uploaded on the platform, click on “Create consignees” button.
Step 9 – The box below shows the created Consignees under the Consignee List
Step 10 - Click on "Add User" button to add new Consignee to required Consignee Company
Step 11 - Fill in the details in the pop up box that appears and Click on "Submit" button to create a new consignee user
